2 · The regulatory content

The dates, thresholds and requirements described on this site are stated as verified on 2026-08-14 against the primary sources cited on each page, and are reviewed monthly. They change, sometimes at short notice, and one date on the wall is expressly marked as derived from a vendor support model rather than published as a calendar commitment.

Nothing on this site is legal, tax, accounting or investment advice, and none of it is a substitute for advice on your own facts. It is written for a general audience of UK mid-market manufacturers and distributors and cannot account for your group structure, your contracts or your particular trade. Check the primary source linked on each page before you act, and take advice where the consequence matters.

3 · The exposure check

A screening tool, not advice, and it will be wrong at the edges — group structures, intra-group transfers and mixed-commodity products all need looking at properly. It runs entirely in your browser: answers are held in page memory, are not written to storage, and are not transmitted anywhere. Closing the tab discards them.

4 · Liability

The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FKCONSULTING LTD accepts no liability for loss arising from reliance on the general information published here.

That limitation applies to this website. It does not apply to paid engagements, which are governed by their own written terms and carry professional indemnity insurance — certificate, limits and territorial and jurisdictional scope available on request before you engage.

Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5 · Intellectual property

The written content, the data model behind the wall and the site design are the property of FKCONSULTING LTD. Quote it with attribution and a link — that is welcome. Republishing it wholesale is not.

Client work is described on this site by capability rather than by name or by client-identifying quantity, because it belongs to the clients who paid for it. The specimen deliverable is constructed for illustration; it is not a redacted client engagement.

6 · Privacy

Controller: FKCONSULTING LTD, company number 17059187.

What is collected: only what you type into the enquiry form — name, company, work email, what is driving the enquiry, and your message. There is no analytics script, no tracking pixel and no advertising cookie on this site.

Lawful basis: legitimate interests — responding to a business enquiry you initiated.

Use: to reply to you and prepare for the conversation. Not added to a mailing list, not put into an automated sequence, not sold or shared for marketing, and not used to train any model.

Processors: the form is handled by Formspree, which processes the submission and forwards it by email. Hosting is Cloudflare Pages, whose logs retain IP addresses briefly for security. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which will see your IP address.

Retention: while there is a live conversation, and for six years after any engagement, to meet the record-keeping obligations that attach to the work. Otherwise deleted within twelve months.

Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Email fungayi@fkconsulting.tech and it will be actioned within one month. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
